Over the last few weeks, the students in Ms. Churchill’s class at Transfiguration School learned about the lifecycle of butterflies.
The students observed the caterpillars daily as each transformed into a chrysalis and finally emerged as a butterfly. The students raised the caterpillars by feeding them daily. They observed metamorphosis, and released the butterflies into nature.
Some even landed on our hands to say goodbye!
