teacher shows students a science project

Students at Valhalla Center participated in our 2nd Annual Science Fair, a classroom-centered, sitewide exploration and study of multiple topics.

Ms. W’s class dug deep with rules and data sheets in hand. Students made predictions about how tall their plants would grow and will measure them each week through May to track their progress.

Mr. Max’s class experimented with sink and float. Students made smart predictions, tracked their observations and tested how many pennies their aluminum foil boats could hold before sinking.

Ms. Lisa’s class showed us why brushing our teeth twice a day is a must and why water is the absolute best beverage for protecting our teeth.

And last but not least, in Ms. Adriana’s class, students learned about chemical reactions by modeling volcanic eruptions.

Students were able to visit each other’s classrooms, model their experiments, and proudly share their learning with peers. Well done, Valhalla Center! 👏🎉
