Southern Westchester BOCES seniors Titus Townsend from Irvington Middle-High School and Madeleine Capuano from Rye Lake Campus were among those honored at the 58th Carroll F. Johnson Scholastic Achievement Dinner.

Titus and Madeleine were recognized by the Lower Hudson Council of School Superintendents as Student Scholars for showing exceptional academic performance, strong GPAs, consistent academic excellence, leadership, character, responsibility, and citizenship as well as for making positive contributions. The students were supported by Principal Julia Dolan, Guidance Counselors Veronica Valencia and Cristina Tompkins, School Psychologist Kristen Stair, and Assistant Director of Special Services Dr. Alexandria Connally.
