On Thursday, September 17, 2026, the SWBOCES at Rochambeau Elementary Program celebrated Open School Day. During this special morning event, parents and guardians were invited to visit their child’s classroom and experience a typical part of the school day alongside them. It was a wonderful opportunity for families to see the learning environment, observe classroom routines, and gain insight into their child’s daily experiences.

Open School Day was designed to strengthen the partnership between home and school by giving families an authentic glimpse into our school community. Principal Julia Dolan shared, “Our partnership with families plays an important role in the success of our students, and we are grateful for the opportunity to have them join us!”

The morning was a meaningful celebration of family engagement and the strong connections that help our students thrive.
