Families join pizza party celebrating academic achievement

Twenty-three students were recognized for their academic achievement during an Honor Roll ceremony at Rye Lake Middle-High School Nov. 21.

Blue, Gold and white balloons set the scene in the main conference room as parents, teachers and BOCES administrators joined students and staff for the 1st Quarter Honor Roll Celebration. The quarterly pizza party send a message to students about the value of their academic efforts and success they are  capable of achieving. 

Interim Principal Alberta Grant-Johnson called off the names of students who made the Honor Roll as well as those whose grades had most improved or had posted perfect attendance. SWBOCES Director of Special Services Jessica Walker and Assistant Director Dr. Alexandria Connally attended the celebration.
