Summer 2021
Virtual Art Gallery
Students are settling into their summer program routines with their classroom teams. We have now completed two of the six weeks of our extended school year program. Our classroom and therapy teams have been working hard in planning and creating lessons that meet the individual needs of our students. Students in our Multiply Handicapped program have been participating in virtual art classes with teacher, Trish Lyons. Students applied water to paper, then dripped the watercolor paint onto the paper. Students then moved the paper around to create their beautiful artwork.

Summer in Tarrytown
Classes are enjoying the beautiful weather and enjoying multi-sensory experiences both in school and the community. Community trips have begun, with classes taking advantage of nearby parks and activities to support generalization of school-based skills.
