Rye Lake Lower Campus celebrates Teacher Appreciation Week

Notes of appreciation, hand-delivered treats all ways of saying thanks

The Rye Lake Lower Campus honored their incredible teachers, teacher assistants, teacher aides, and related service providers throughout Teacher Appreciation Week.

Staff, student, and family involvement are a huge part of the success of RLLC's Teacher Appreciation Week and the school community. As a result, the campus continued its tradition by creating an Appreciation Station in the foyer of the Decagon Building.

Throughout the week, staff, students, and families were able to stop by the Appreciation Station, and write an appreciation message on a Post-It note for the person they wanted to acknowledge, and then post it on the bulletin board. Since most of our students ride the school bus, we created a Google Form to provide easy participation by our families.

Entries were printed and added to the board by Ms. Jackson. Students were encouraged to participate by writing a message, drawing a picture, or selecting and image or icon from the table.

Additionally, throughout the week there were three different special treats delivered to all staff as tokens of appreciation.
